Level: Entry Level (0-4 years of experience)

  Perform structural design and detailing of railroad bridge components under the guidance of Senior Engineers and Project Managers.

  Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, supporting both office and field assignments.

  
  
• 
  

  Conduct bridge analysis, design, and detailing in accordance with the AREMA Manual.

  
  
• 
  

  Apply problem-solving skills to resolve design and detailing issues.

  
  
• 
  

  Use CADD software, Microsoft Office, and structural analysis tools to support project deliverables.

  
  
• 
  

  Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project managers, communicating ideas clearly both orally and in writing.

  
  

• 
  

  Education: At minimum -BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.

  Certification: Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and pursuing EIT Certification

Railroad Bridge Unit:

Focuses on structural design, evaluation and rehabilitation of new and existing railroad bridges of all types, including fixed, movable, girder, truss and arch structures. This unit focuses on the unique challenges of railroad structures, including historic bridges and providing emergency services. Staff within this unit are primarily made up of Structural Engineers.
