CNC Machinist

Staffmark is hiring CNC Machinists to join a growing manufacturing team in Youngsville, LA. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for precision work, this is your opportunity to grow your career in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40+ hours/week) | Must be flexible; occasional weekends required

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders)
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Mark materials for machining based on measurements
• Secure materials and tools; adjust machine settings (speed, feed, coolant, etc.)
• Monitor machine operation and perform in-process inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Communicate with supervisors or team members to resolve issues
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of CNC lathe or mill experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and math skills
