Description

MidFirst Bank is one of the largest privately owned banks in the United States and this combination of size and private ownership provides our customers with a special brand of banking. Midland Mortgage, a division of MidFirst Bank, is one of the most successful home mortgage servicers in the county. The Document Cures Department is responsible for the safe-keeping and accuracy of mortgage loan documents.

Tasks will include:

* Reviewing mortgage collateral documents for accuracy and completeness.
* Preparing new or corrective documents.
* Working with 3rd parties such as attorney's, title companies, and other mortgage servicers to clear document exceptions.
* Audit documents to pull data needed for servicing and regulators.
* Update tracking systems, databases, and spreadsheets.

Additional responsibilities include:

* Assist with monitoring workflow for the team and assign tasks accordingly
* Meet with managers regularly to discuss workflow opportunities
* Assist with keeping training materials up to date and conduct training

**This position is onsite in the Oklahoma City office not offering hybrid/remote

Position Requirements:

3-5 years of mortgage related experience (preference for experience in collateral review including verifying chain of title, preparing assignments of mortgage, and curing mortgage document exceptions)

* Have the ability to multi-task, working on different tasks and projects.
* Have excellent time management skills.
* Have strong interpersonal skills to provide training and direction with management oversight
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to prioritize based on current department focus and time- sensitive needs.
* Comfortable meeting with management to discuss and review team initiatives and goals
* Be very detail-oriented with excellent quality.
* Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel being able to compare sets of data and produce summary reports.
* Prior origination, servicing, or title experience is preferred.
