Job Overview
As directed and/or using own initiative by working independently or working under the guidance of Corporate IT, responsible for planning, setting up, and maintaining all computer hardware and software pertaining to management and accounting systems. Provides technical assistance to users, performs programming services, modifies, tests, and corrects programs to increase operating efficiency or to respond to changes in work processes and repairs and/or replaces hardware and components where required. Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Serves as the technical advisor to the Project Manager for all matters relating to assigned functional area.
- Serves as Systems Administrator for Microsoft Windows servers.
- Responsible for planning, staging, deployment, and maintaining all desktop computer hardware and software pertaining to all modules of the management systems (Maximo).
- Coordinates with Corporate IT department as a remote site administrator.
- Documents all MIS Preventive Maintenance tasks, such as server changes, and UPS testing.
- Moderates amount of LAN networking.
- Establishes unique work standards and implements methods and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks or as related to programming and unique users.
- Composes, coordinates, reviews, and processes a large range of contract required records, reports, and submittals and provides other analytical information by extracting data from the management system (Maximo). Most reporting methods will use MS SQL 2000 databases, ODBC, and Actuate Reports, as well as other methods and mechanisms as required.
- Provides technical assistance and orients and trains users on initial, new, or changed procedures of the maintenance management and accounting system.
- Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
- Coordinates with the Property Administrator to maintain accountability of all hardware, hardware accessories, software, product literature, and technical manuals.
- Performs duties in a timely and cost-effective manner.Supports, implements (where applicable), and enforces all project and corporate procedures, plans, regulations, and rules.
- Assists with setting up Common Access Cards (CAC card).
- Confirms issues and creates trouble tickets for the following: new user ID and passwords for PC access to include Outlook, Cloud P and H drives, MFA Issues, key fobs, new user's permissions, and licenses. Tracks all trouble tickets.
- Helps employees with learning the P and H drives, the Cloud, ZOOM and Teams.
- Re-images PC's and confirm all updates in Chugach and NMCI PC's.
- Sends out reminders to employees as needed on how to properly care for and update their personal computers.
- Connects PC's to printer(s); send links for training to employees as needed. Obtains confirmation that training has been completed.
- Provides necessary guidance to employees on Excel, Word, MAXIMO for both Chugach and Government, NMCI Outlook and Flank speed, how to log onto Chugach sites, and set up their Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) account when needed.
- Repairs and/or replaces inoperable monitors, mouse, personal computers, printers, new cords, mobile devices, docking stations, etc. Reports inoperable internet as needed.
- Sets up CIO tickets for new users for Government NMCI/Maximo, STS tickets for new hires, set up SAAR-N forms for new hires and updates for current employees, including adding Cyber Awareness training certs for new and current employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to follow processes and procedures and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

- All activities involved in the performance of the contract at this project location under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Accuracy and timeliness in processing purchase requests within own department.

- Adherence to all Safety and Health rules and regulations.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of one (1) years of system administration or equivalent formal education in computer information.
- Previous system administrator experience for Windows, Microsoft Windows Office Suite, Microsoft SQL Server, and enterprise-level backup solutions.
- Computer peripheral hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Intermediate level of TCP/IP networking experience.
- Ability to deal professionally and courteously with a variety of people in diversified situations.
- Possess a valid Nevada Driver's License.
- Possess an OSHA 30 card or have the ability to get one within the first 90 days of employment.
- Must be able to comprehend, read, speak and write proficiently in the English language.
- Capable of passing a background check for Base Access and Common Access Card (CAC).
- U.S. Citizen.
Preferred:
- Basic programming, database, and SQL knowledge and experience.
- Experience administrating Enterprise level management systems, such as Maximo 7.6+ and/or Oracle.
- Microsoft Certified Computer Information degree.
Work Conditions:
- Work hours are subject to change.
- Work is primarily performed indoors and with some possibly outdoors. Outdoors work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 40 lbs.
- Work hours are subject to change, with overtime work as needed.
- Subject to hazards that may cause personal bodily harm; diseases, cuts, bruises, burns, common colds, influenza, dust odors and elevated noise levels.
- Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hand and soft-carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces.
