KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Support endpoint devices, including reimaging / deployment of laptops for system interfacing
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly updates, including STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and patches for both test / operational servers
  • Perform account and identify management, ensuring secure access and authentication
  • Troubleshoot systems and applications to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Review / update systems administration Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance of system assets
  • Monitor system and application performance for optimal functionality
  • Provide network engineering expertise, including routing, switching, DNS, and port security
  • Perform firewall maintenance, management, and programming to safeguard network security
  • Manage IP addresses to ensure efficient / effective network operations
  • Troubleshoot system / network issues such as outages, down services, and connectivity issues
  • Support RMF (Risk Management Framework) tasks such as applying STIGs, maintaining POA&M, conducting log reviews, change management, incident response, and vulnerability management
  • Implement / operate a regional FRCS (Facility Related Control System) test bed to test system patches, STIGs, and firmware updates prior to deployment in a live environment
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of IT systems / network administration experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university preferred
  • Experience with IT firewall maintenance, network configuration, and IP address management
  • Understanding of STIGs and patch management practices
  • Familiarity with RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes and cybersecurity measures
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex system / network issues
  • Ability to train and provide technical guidance to staff
  • Position is located / required to be onsite in Pohang, South Korea (multi-year project)
  • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
