A Day In The Life
As a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, you will lead a team that will empower the organization through data-driven decision-making. Oversee the design, development, and optimization of performance measurement tools, aligning key performance indicators (KPIs) with business objectives to drive growth, efficiency, and accountability. With expertise in tools like Excel, Tableau, and Power BI, this team will deliver clear, actionable dashboards and reporting solutions that unlock insights across functions and transform complex data into strategic direction. Senior Manager, Business Intelligence will collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities, assess performance trends, and inform decision-making at all levels of the organization.

As a Sr Mgr, Business Intellig you will:

  • Strategic Data Leadership and Insights
  • Drive enterprise-wide Business Intelligence strategy by leading advanced analytics, performance measurement, and dashboard development that supports key initiatives across GST and affiliated business units.
  • Direct the integration and governance of data from multiple sources to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights that align with organizational goals and business strategy.
  • Own the framework for defining and tracking KPIs, delivering high-impact analyses that inform executive decisions and business transformation efforts.
  • Proactively partner with executive stakeholders to uncover strategic opportunities, shape business direction, and influence outcomes through data.
  • Guide the development of sophisticated reporting solutions using Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to support scalable, data-informed decision-making across all levels of the business.
  • Serve as a thought leader in analytics by championing innovation, challenging legacy thinking, and promoting continuous optimization of processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Lead enterprise-level initiatives to standardize and automate performance insights and recommend measurable solutions for operational enhancements.
  • Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing Business Intelligence team, fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and professional growth.
  • Act as a senior liaison across business units and technical teams to align analytics priorities with evolving business needs.
  • Drive collaboration and information sharing across functions, enabling a connected view of performance and enhancing organizational data literacy.
  • Facilitate executive briefings and deliver clear, compelling insights to both technical and non-technical audiences to support strategic alignment and action.
  • Influence stakeholders by delivering insights that drive forward-looking decisions and promote a data-first culture.
  • Capability Building and Continuous Innovation
  • Develop and implement BI training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing practices to raise analytics maturity across the organization.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in the BI space to ensure the team is continuously evolving and delivering value.
  • Promote a mindset of experimentation and agile delivery-testing and applying new techniques and technologies to improve analytical output and business value.
  • Encourage peer and stakeholder feedback to drive iterative improvement and foster a growth-oriented team culture.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree Req
  • Master's Degree Pref
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional data initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
  • Deep expertise in dashboarding and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and fluency in SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong background in translating business needs into scalable BI strategies and tools.
  • Demonstrated success in managing teams, leading change, and building data-centric cultures.
  • Knowledge of business system tools
  • Drive operational communications within the business through strong Change Management skills
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of analysts.
  • Capable of developing team; nurturing talent and providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Knowledge of business processes and operations, with the ability to understand and address business challenges through data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence and self-awareness
  • Strong business mindset with ability to collaborate with business partners to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
