This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ office near Portland, Oregon. The expectation is for employees to be in-office 3 days or more per week, depending on business need. This in-office expectation is subject to change at business discretion. ABOUT THE POSITION The Columbia Brand Creative team is focused on delivering a compelling look, feel, voice, and tone that reflect the company's values and evolution of brand perception. Within this role, you will help develop creative concepts, then be a part of the production process. It is crucial to have a fundamental understanding and professional experience of multimedia creation, and presentation design. HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE Creation of valuable brand content such as visual direction, video edits, presentation design, and creative strategy. Contribute to the success of brand creative, being a collaborative partner through each season's production process. Support internal and external design partners in brand storytelling through strong communication skills. Update seasonal mockups and toolkits that inform and guide global partners. Collaborate with an amazing team, work through challenges, and provide fresh solutions. YOU ARE A creative with the ability to create and select strong visuals (photo, video, graphics). Organized and self-sufficient when it comes to multimedia creation. Skilled at problem-solving and adapting quickly to changing circumstances. Knowledgeable of trends in culture, design, art, fashion, social, motion - and the ability to utilize them in an on-brand way. Eager to learn, undeniably talented. YOUHAVE 2+ years of experience working as multimedia designer, brand designer, or equivalent. Applied skill in creative direction with an emphasis on video capture and editing, photography, photo editing Proven ability and a sharp eye to create strong presentations and graphic layouts. The ability to travel globally 10-20% of the time.
