Job Overview The AV Events Team provides comprehensive event support throughout the lifecycle of large-scale corporate events. The team is comprised of individuals skilled in AV technical pre-production, equipment recommendations, and live event technical execution. We are seeking an AV Events Technician to offer ancillary event support services. The role may involve assisting with starting an in-room presentation, providing dedicated technical support for in-room AV equipment, and potentially working flexible hours, including after normal business hours or on weekends. Responsibilities: * Act as event production A1 or A2, Graphics, or TD/switching, depending on show needs Equipment Expertise: *AV Signal Flow & Troubleshooting *Video Routers: Evertz, Blackmagic, Crestron *Video Switchers: Panasonic AV-HS Series, Blackmagic, Ross Carbonite, Barco E2 *Video Recording Devices: PIX, AJA KiPro, Blackmagic HyperDeck *Audio Mixers: Yamaha TF, QL series, Mackie, Shure *Microphones: Shure QLX, ULX series, Sennheiser, Lectrosonics *Lighting Boards: ETC Element, Leprecon *PTZ Cameras: Panasonic AW-HE series + controller *Cameras: Sony XDCAM series, Panasonic P2 series, Blackmagic *Misc: Perfect Cue, Countdown clock, Internet Clicker *Software: Zoom, Google Suite, Google Meet, Google Slides, Keynote, Slack, Dante Controller, Smaart 8, Mbox/Qlab/Playback Pro/Quicktime Required Skills: *Previous experience working on corporate events in a corporate setting. *Advanced understanding of current audio/video standards and equipment. *Ability to program and operate switchers, graphics, mixers, microphones,and all ancillary audio gear. *Superior customer service as you will be working with internal clients and users across all departments. *Ability to simplify AV technical information, workflows, and terminology for those who may not be familiar with the AV technologies. Soft Skills: *Willingness to embrace client's culture of giving and receiving candid feedback from colleagues. *Detailed oriented and motivated self-starter. *Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meetaggressivedeadlines. *Ability to adapt and work well with varied personalities. *High level of professionalism and ability to be helpful and maintain composure under pressure. *Ability to work independently with minimal guidance but aren't afraid to ask the right questions when you need help.
