The opportunity

As the Director of Compliance and Licensure for Nursing, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring our nursing programs meet all regulatory and compliance requirements. You'll oversee adjunct faculty management and serve as a central point of contact for compliance and licensure across all nursing programs.

In this role, you'll collaborate with internal and external partners to support and grow nursing initiatives and broader University projects. You'll lead efforts to interpret and implement changes driven by new regulations, ensuring our programs remain current and compliant.

Working with the data analytics team, you'll review nursing-related data to support accreditation and regulatory reporting. You'll also contribute to the annual nursing survey, helping us track progress and meet benchmarks outlined in our nursing evaluation plan.

This position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Administrator.

What you'll do:

  • Manage schedule for adjunct faculty teaching in the nursing programs.

  • Help determine the nursing adjunct faculty qualifications for the hiring process.

  • Oversee the team lead process with nursing team lead assignments and evaluations of nursing faculty each term.

  • Lead coaching, mentoring, and remediation efforts to support ensuring faculty excellence and achievement of faculty performance outcomes.

  • Prepare state board of nursing annual reports and nursing organization required surveys.

  • Engage with advisory boards within nursing, SNHU, and external partners.

  • Monitor state board of nursing requirements for licensure of nursing faculty.

  • Maintain licensure report of all faculty to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory agencies.

  • Monitor and report on accreditation standards in collaboration with nursing governance committees.

  • Assist the CNA/Executive Director with program budget requests.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of nursing leadership and education experience

  • Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field

  • Current unencumbered registered nursing license in a compact state

  • Knowledge of state licensure, faculty qualifications, and program requirements

  • Experience in faculty management, online teaching, instructional technology

  • Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards, CCNE requirements, AACN Essentials

  • Apply data analytics in preparation of regulatory and accreditation reports

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $91,388.00 - $146,247.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $100,983.00 - $136,624.00.
