Description

The Project Manager Cardiovascular Administration role is accountable for facilitating the planning, implementation and post implementation phases of projects and programs from intake to project closure for the MaineHealth Cardiovascular Service Line. This role will determine the appropriate qualitative and quantitative measures to evaluate progress and successful implementation of these projects. Projects will focus on quality improvement and care variation reduction for the various Cardiovascular Service Line divisions, sections, and programs. Specialty focus may include General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Vascular Surgery among others. Projects may include interventions to decrease length of stay, reduce readmissions, decrease supply cost variation, and support quality improvement in a variety of other ways

Master's Degree or current enrollment in graduate level program in relevant field preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Three years of project management experience required. Experience in research preferred.
