Job Title: Member Services Representative
Job Description Serve as a Member Services Advocate during the Annual Enrollment Period, acting as a key point of contact for member inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other plan services. Your role involves ensuring member satisfaction by delivering superior customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor. Responsibilities * Provide language interpretation for incoming calls, with a focus on Cantonese. The volume of these calls is not expected to be high. * Conduct light administrative work, including database cleanup and ad hoc projects during downtime. * Make light outbound calls as needed. * Participate in training sessions to become proficient in administrative duties and call expectations. Essential Skills * Proficiency in Cantonese for full conversations during calls. * Exceptional customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience in healthcare, doctor office, dental office, hospitality, or any customer service role for at least 2 years. * Knowledge of other languages such as Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, and Spanish is beneficial. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
