Description & Requirements
The Regional Marketing Associate reports to the Marketing Manager will support the managing partner, industry leaders, and marketing & business development efforts to develop and assist with top strategic growth opportunities. This individual will work in various aspects of MBD, including marketing campaigns and strategies, growing name and brand recognition, event planning, social media, advertising, trade association and publications, project management, media relations, market and competition analysis, internal communication, and more.
What you will do:
- Demonstrate awareness of top strategic growth opportunities, initiatives, & services for MBD opportunities
- Support & leverage thought leadership activities including speaking opportunities, social media, articles, webinars, & videos
- Coordinate local association & conference activities including memberships, logistics, sponsorships, & thought leadership opportunities
- Coordinate local Forvis Mazars-hosted events including primary goals & objectives, location, target audience, session details, invitations, etc.
- Assist with identifying target markets & prospects, & ensure they are included in Forvis Mazars systems
- Assist industry professionals with market & competition analysis & project management
- Participate in collaboration vehicle & opportunities to ensure team strategy alignment
- Begin to develop the ability to think from the client's perspective, understand best practices in marketing, advertising, & adhere to Forvis Mazars' marketing philosophy
- Maintain a basic understanding of social media outlets, strategies, training resources, & activity
- Collaborate with others in the region, including the Strategic Marketing Director/Senior Manager/Manager and Marketing Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Advanced computer & software skills, including experience with Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years or more of relevant experience
- Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM experience
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively convey information to others
- Strong project & time management skills
- Industry knowledge
- Strong business judgment
- Brings a confident approach, well-structured work habits, creative solutions, and a proactive mindset to challenges
