Independently perform lockbox functions daily such as setup, maintenance, collections, research, and daily reporting Receive and sort incoming mail of 1500+ items daily. This includes mail received for two SSB affiliated companies. This also includes analyzing and sorting mail between check and correspondence mail. Sort checks by domestic and foreign currencies. Batch & send via overnight correspondence mail to vendors Scan all check payments and remit pages with Opex Scanner / Computer ensuring banking information is captured for deposit Serve as point of contact between Corporate Billing, SSB and the scanner vendors to ensure maintenance is done and any problems are resolved quickly to avoid outages. Balance daily check batch deposits of 50 checks Work with post office management to resolve any issues such as exceptions to mail (returns, returns where the information is correct, etc.) Submit scanned check deposits through TMR and verify deposit amount File & Store daily work Maintain a shred schedule Branch deposit non-US - foreign currency payments Research any deposit adjustments and request adjustments made by bank Research incoming payments for proper posting Post payments accurately with few errors Contact client and/or debtor via email or phone to determine proper posting instructions for exception payments Work own item unapplied cash entries in a timely and accurate manner trying to clear within 30 days and not exceed 90 days Work tasks assigned in CBCentral in a timely and accurate manner All other tasks, responsibilities, or duties as directed

Must have strong communication skills characterized by excellent writing and speaking skills Proficient with general office machines and programs to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software that might be utilized in the department Ability to use the computer efficiently and the capacity to learn new software programs as they are rolled out by the Bank Must have good knowledge of business English, including spelling and punctuation Must possess basic English language skills to write and speak clearly, and effectively with coworkers and customers Must have proficient 10-key skills Must effectively manage workflow and assignments by appropriately prioritizing work to meet deadlines Must be well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail Must be cooperative and willing to assist coworkers and customers/clients on a regular basis Must have effective listening skills demonstrated by the ability to listen to others talk (without interruption), understand them, and then propose solutions or make contributions based on the points made by others Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to function well under pressure Must have a keen eye for detail and follow instructions to the letter
Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as excellent customer relations skills Must be able to function effectively as part of a team and must possess the ability to deal effectively and tactfully with employees, management and external customers Must have proficient 10-key skills Proficient using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook Must effectively manage workflow and assignments by appropriately prioritizing work. Attention to detail and accuracy is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to remain seated or work standing in a confined area on a computer for a minimum of four (4) hours each workday Must be able to constantly use hands and fingers to enter data through or on a computer or answer a phone throughout most of an eight (8) hour shift Must be able to walk often throughout the day in a staired 2-story building Must be able to hear and communicate with coworkers and customers throughout the day May need to lift-up to twenty-five pounds one to two times a day to perform job
