Description and Requirements

About the Position

Our AI Infrastructure & Cloud Services Technology and Services Division (TSD) is growing its presence at our second global HQ site in Morrisville, NC. We're looking for a Senior Datacenter Network Engineer with experience handling global network operations. This position is hybrid at our Morrisville site 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the swift resolution of network issues and prompt communication to cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are delivered effectively
  • Serve as a team member supporting global networking and operations
  • Provide network operations support and service to both internal and external customers, ensuring stakeholders at all levels receive the correct service
  • Design, document and deliver efficient and reliable campus network solutions
  • Support the design, documentation and delivery of a reliable global network architecture, ensuring complex network issues are resolved effectively
  • Collaborate with Automation team to provide technical documentations to drive automation delivery
  • Continuously optimize network performance to ensure stability and security
  • Ensure network stability and security
  • Provide detailed and timely documentation, ensuring accessibility across the organization

Basic Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Global Network Operations Experience
  • 5+ years of Experience supporting Multinational Networking Projects
  • Hands-on with Network Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Wireless
  • Hands-on with Network Devices: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers
  • Hands-on with Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet or F5 network products
  • Experience delivering network automations on a cross-functional team
  • Experience utilizing and implementing AI tools and automations
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Outstanding stakeholder, partner, and vendor management skills
  • Cultural Competency working across Chinese, American, Desi, European, and South American cultural contexts, ensuring messages are communicated with clarity and tact
  • Certifications a plus (CCNP)
  • Bilingual skillset in Mandarin and English a plus

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $100-135k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This position is hybrid 3 days per week at our Morrisville, NC location.
