General Statement of Responsibilities: Manage human resources functions related to employment of union and non-union staff that involve the planning, implementation and day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. These include recruitment, management of HR actions and record keeping for hires, terminations, leaves of absence, promotions, transfers, coordination of training, performance management, succession planning, and compensation analysis among others. Provides guidance to staff regarding policy and collective bargaining agreement and works with the HR Director on labor matters, such as grievance procedures. Assist with the communication of policies, procedures, labor contract, diversity and inclusion action plans, and other departmental and university regulatory updates. Assist with the planning, scheduling and implementation of department activities such as onboarding and offboarding, training opportunities and recognition programs among others. Fosters practices that produce enhanced productivity and effective work environment and partners with the HR Director to ensure that the execution of human resources activities, services and guidance are consistent with, and supportive of, established University human resources vision, mission and plans. Maintain exceptionally high degrees of confidentiality and customer service and be able to foster an environment of continuous improvement through the practice of Boynton Health's core values.
