Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on the development and production of IV related medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science/engineering, project management, and regulatory compliance.The main focus of Product Engineering is to address any changes to raw materials, purchased products, or finished goods.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties



  • Key Responsibilities: Project Management:Lead and manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Change Control: Initiate and manage change control processes to ensure all modifications to products and processes are documented and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Engineering Test Reports: Design, conduct, and document engineering tests to validate product performance and safety.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and processes comply with FDA regulations and other relevant regulatory agencies. Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of new products and changes.
  • Manufacturing Support: Act as a subject matter expert for discussion around non-conforming product or product complaints.
  • Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair or improve products, components or assemblies.
  • Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems.
  • Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects.
  • Designs and drafts blueprints with designer, visits systems in the field and manages projects.
  • Must be SME in field at higher levels of job.
  • Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.

  • Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
  • Work under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training , assigning and checking the work of lower level employees. Referring only complex problems and issues
  • Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.


Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. Engineering) from four-year college or university and 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of 10 years of education and experience.
  • Domestic travel with the remote possibility of International travel.

Salary Range: $67,261 - $84,076
