Billing Specialist

Hunter Hamilton is partnering with a trusted client in the Lakeland area to find a detail-oriented and driven Billing Specialist. This is a fantastic on-site opportunity with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

  Generate and submit accurate, customized client invoices on time

  
  
• 
  

  Prepare billing formats tailored to client requirements

  
  
• 
  

  Collaborate with Key Account Sales teams to correct pricing discrepancies and equipment issues

  
  
• 
  

  Manage accounts receivable for assigned accounts, ensuring timely payment and resolution of open items

  
  
• 
  

  Research and resolve recurring billing issues and adjustments

  
  
• 
  

  Communicate with internal teams and customers to address discrepancies quickly and effectively

  
  
• 
  

  Assist sales team with account reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

  Use multiple systems and client portals to manage billing workflows

  
  
• 
  

  Support additional duties as assigned by leadership

  
  

• 
  

  1+ years of billing or AR experience preferred

  
  
• 
  

  Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

  
  
• 
  

  Experience with custom and complex billing structures across multiple clients

  
  
• 
  

  Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

  
  
• 
  

  Proven ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies independently

  
  
• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  
  
• 
  

  Comfortable learning and using multiple systems and customer interfaces

  
  
• 
  

  Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required

  
  

•
