Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Lead all Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Food Safety operations at the Rochester manufacturing site.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain integrated quality and food safety systems, including Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000, Feed Additives and Premixtures Quality System (FAMI-QS), National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Dietary Supplements, and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001.
  • Manage product hold, quarantine, and release processes, including disposition of non-conforming materials.
  • Serve as the primary contact for food and feed safety communications and customer requirements.
  • Lead internal, external, and vendor audits to ensure regulatory and customer compliance.
  • Oversee the site's Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program and act as the Food Safety Team Leader.
  • Ensure effective use and data integrity of enterprise resource planning systems, including the Systems Applications and Products (SAP) Quality Management module.
  • Collaborate across global teams to align quality objectives and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), dietary supplement regulations, and environmental standards.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in product disposition and decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Demonstrated success in managing quality systems and food safety programs.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural, international work environment.
