Description

Markon is seeking a Facility Vehicle Preparation & Maintenance Specialist to support our NRO client at multiple locations across the US.



Responsibilities

The ideal Facility Vehicle Preparation & Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:

    Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of government vehicles, ensuring operational readiness.

  • Drive vehicles for routine maintenance, state inspections, and washing, and may serve as a backup Shuttle Van or Executive Driver.

  • Conduct routine inspections, checking fluids, tire pressure, and general vehicle condition.

  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors manually or using automated systems, and ensure all necessary stickers, license plates, and documentation are up to date.

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.

  • Complete and submit maintenance logs and activity reports in a timely and accurate manner.



Qualifications

Required:

  • TS/SCI with a Counterintelligence Polygraph (Preferably with this client)
  • High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree required (dependent on level)

  • 2-10+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance, detailing, or fleet operations

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, pulling, stooping, and lifting

Desired:

  • Experience working in a government or defense-related vehicle support role

  • Mechanical aptitude for identifying basic vehicle issues

  • Attention to detail and familiarity with vehicle inspection protocols



Salary Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
