Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for maximizing the value for a product Key responsibilities include defining the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team Work closely with the stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model, to ensure there is alignment Lead and design application-based projects for an enterprise wide treasury and credit application Lead others or may be led depending upon project priorities and functionality Work with business to understand requirements and architecture leads to develop a strategic design and roadmap Responsible for delivery of project into production Develop an understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software) Analyze the stakeholder process to build efficiencies and also analyzes the software to improve or implement that process Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests Analyze functional and data requirements Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting Identify, document and troubleshoot application related problems Document process, procedures and workflows associated with applications Create and maintain training materials for end-users Requirements: Possess a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business and/or technology domain Able to understand very complex systems and utilize development patterns to develop key components in a clustered and multithreaded environment which is highly scalable with continued good performance Self-driven, communicate well and work well on a team of other developers Kanban, Agile, Scrum, JIRA Desired skills: Agile tools Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
