DEKA is looking for a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer to join a product team developing a new medical device. How you will make an impact as a Junior Software Engineer: Design, implement, and verify safety-critical embedded and UI software across the full development lifecycle, from concept through production and field support. Involvement in network communications, graphical user interfaces, complex modeling, cryptographic operations and real world interfaces To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience: Experience with multithreaded systems and asynchronous messaging A solid understanding of, and 1 year experience with, Python, C and C++ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience Experience designing, implementing, and testing software/hardware systems Experience using source control systems and working in a multi-developer environment Ability to communicate complex design and technical issues verbally and in writing Experience with user interface design and implementation a plus Experience with network communication implementation a plus Experience Android and iOS application development is a plus About DEKA: One hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
