The SEI Wealth Platform has a challenging career opportunity for a QA Engineer. This position requires a foundation of business knowledge in the financial services industry, and the ability to work in an Agile team environment. The candidate should be adaptable, possess experience in Wealth Management, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements.

What you will do:

  • Plan, coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities in collaboration with business users and development teams.
  • Communicate UAT progress, blockers and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance complex Microsoft Access and Excel databases.
  • Using Rally to investigate functionality
  • Use Confluence to learn about new functionality
  • Send management daily reporting for statuses
  • Run defect call with development teams
  • Run warranty call during warranty with all stakeholders
  • Consolidate and report Release notes to stakeholders
  • Develop and troubleshoot VBA scripts and macros.
  • Track and manage open incidents during warranty.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in work experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience including project management experience or equivalent education experience within financial services is a plus
  • Experience in release management within a financial services and/or outsourcing environment is a plus
  • Ability to be credible in communications with internal partners, executive personnel and clients
  • Strong working knowledge of VBA in Excel and Access
  • Strong Microsoft Applications preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL or backend data validation.
  • Exposure to automation tools or scripting is a plus.

This team works in a hybrid work environment with 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in the office.
