Our Department: Field Systems - Business Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, experienced, and strategic-thinking Senior Product Manager to lead the overhaul of our underlying data architecture in our Field Systems Business Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for working across Field Systems and corporate stakeholders to understand challenges with the current architecture, the evolving business needs, and defining how we can better manage our offerings with the underlying part number data to meet our evolving needs.

This role will require the ability to gain a deep understanding of the current data architecture framework and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand current challenges, define and document the strategy, and plan the creation, implementation, and migration of the new architecture. This will require a good amount of change management and communication skills, as changing the data architecture and structure will have a significant impact on business processes and business systems and will be challenging.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the redesign of our data architecture, focusing on the organization and management of part numbers, SKUs, and their categorization into product families, product lines, and product groups.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.

  • Ensure the new data architecture aligns with corporate requirements and objectives

  • Lead the implementation of the new data architecture, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data migration team and other relevant teams.

  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and other IT professionals to implement and maintain the new data architecture.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of the data architecture to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry best practices.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience with data architecture, with a strong background in data architecture principles and data governance.

  • Extensive experience in redesigning and optimizing data management processes, particularly in organizing and managing part numbers, SKUs, and categorization.

  • Good understanding of channel operations, dealer incentives, sales reporting, forecasting.
