The Technical Accountant is a key financial position focused on conducting thorough technical accounting research, as well as providing invaluable assistance with loan and Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) processes. This role requires an in-depth understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to oversee complex financial operations within the organization.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, from an accredited college or university is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical accounting is required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP; CPA is a plus.
• Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be fast-paced and detail oriented; strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and office equipment required.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
