Summary

To perform a variety of production work as required ensuring that all quality specifications are met. Provides leadership and role modeling for clients/trainees.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Works at various work stations as assigned. Continuously monitors production to assure quality standards and maintains piece counts to assure customer requirements.
• Performs work in all areas of production work floor as needed to include, but not be limited to: packaging, assembly, inspection/quality control, disassembly, tabbing, envelope and folder stuffing, collating, folding, basic machine operations, etc. Duties may be performed at facility (or on community).
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment at all times. Disposes of trash as required. Performs duties in a safe manner and adheres to all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Informs supervisors of problems and concerns with assigned job tasks. Interacts and works effectively with co-workers and clients/trainees.
• Assists clients/trainees in evacuations and evacuation drills and abides by all evacuation procedures.
• Adheres to attendance/tardiness/call off policies.
• Keeps track of their production.
• Fills out daily production cards properly and completely.
• Promotes an environment of workplace safety. Assures that duties are performed in a safe manner and safety requirements are adhered to.
• Communicates progress, problems, and concerns to the Custodial Project Manager - PIBH.

Education and Experience

• No formal education necessary.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

• Ability to walk or stand a full day.
• Ability to lift and/or carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to write and understand simple instructions and ability to communicate with supervisor.
• Ability to work with hands and have manual dexterity.
• Ability to use simple logic to assure quality standards are met.
