POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is recruiting a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Human Resources team. This role will focus on technical recruitment for the enterprise-wide rollout of Sony's Engagement Platform Services (SEPS). This platform utilizes technologies from Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) and other internal teams to provide capabilities in digital commerce, personalization, account & identity services, and developer enablement. This role will focus on identifying and attracting diverse talent to support the rollout of the Sony Engagement Platform. The position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

This assignment will be a fixed-term, 12-month position with a hybrid schedule based out of our Los Angeles or San Diego office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality technical talent.
  • Manage the full life-cycle recruitment for positions, including sourcing, screening, presenting candidates, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline of qualified active and passive candidates by proactively using creative sourcing strategies, both internally & externally, to identify and attract competitive candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business needs, define job requirements, build accurate job descriptions, evaluate hiring criteria, generate interview questions, and move candidates through the interview process efficiently to make quality hiring decisions.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor practices to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Partner with Compensation and HR Business Partners to understand the compensation structure and develop offers in line with that structure.
  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience through consistent follow-up communication and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

  • 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle technical recruitment, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling engineering roles in a growth-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of various engineering disciplines and technical skills.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Must be responsive and focused on the quality of hire while maintaining a sense of urgency to meet all client needs.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
