We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Workday Project Manager to lead the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of our HR systems and processes within Workday. In this role, you will drive innovative solutions that align with business priorities, enhance operational efficiency, and support a growing organization. You will develop a roadmap of enhancements and lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize the employee experience across the full HR lifecycle. Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Workday-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify pain points and opportunities and develop a comprehensive roadmap of system enhancements and process improvements.
- Design, implement, and document scalable Workday roles, permissions, and security frameworks to ensure appropriate access and compliance.
- Champion continuous improvement by applying data-driven insights, industry best practices, and user feedback to enhance Workday functionality and user experience.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with HR, IT, Finance, business leaders, and external vendors to ensure alignment, transparency, and successful project outcomes.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting and implementing HR systems, with a focus on Workday, in a project manager or product owner capacity.
- Proven experience leading Workday implementations or module enhancements; Workday certification a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and deliver innovative, effective solutions.
- Demonstrated experience applying change management principles, process mapping, and workforce enablement strategies to drive successful adoption.
- Deep understanding of the employee lifecycle, HR best practices, and compliance requirements across core HR functions (e.g., total rewards, performance management, talent acquisition and development).
- Ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders at all levels, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effectively presenting ideas, managing expectations, and facilitating decision-making.

The estimated base pay for the position is $160,000-$175,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position.
