Wieland is hiring a Breakdown Saw Operator. The Breakdown Saw Operator will be responsible for preparing the table saw machine to cut tubing to required size listed on specification. Operates equipment safely per standard operating procedure and initiates improvement to safe operations as appropriate. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $19.38/hr.

Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Breakdown Saw Operator Responsibilities:

Maintains safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Produces material within prescribed tolerances using appropriate measuring device with focus on the "next customer" in a timely manner.
• Interprets traveler tickets (or production order sheets) to determine the necessary adjustments to make on the saw stop settings for required length.
• Maintains effective communication with other employees, including supervisor/management and during shift changes to effectively complete tasks.
• Cuts scrap material as part of salvage operation.
• Completes the traveler tickets once job is completed.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the various tasks identified on the machine's training evaluation form.
• Able to work various overtime as business needs require.
• Cross-trains in other areas as needed.

Breakdown Saw Operator Qualifications:

• Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP's & Quality Plan.
• Demonstrates proficient knowledge utilizing measuring devices.
