Wieland is hiring a Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for customer contact for daily business processes. Handles customer request and/or initial complaints, performs order entry, revisions to SAP, issues credit/debit requests, releases material for shipment and coordinates with Shipping. Coordination with Production Control to meet customer needs This role is located in Pine Hall, NC and will be fully on-site.



Responsibilities

Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

    Acts professionally as company representative in dealings with customer inquiries and requests
  • Enters purchase orders into SAP, ensures correct pricing on all sales orders (fabrication and metal values including any additional adders)
  • Confirms orders with customers
  • Requests and documents metal fixations when applicable
  • Revises sales orders per customers' request and informs pertinent departments
  • Issues credits and debits for quality and financial needs
  • Maintains pricing and commercial terms
  • Reconciles month-end reporting
  • Files all associated paperwork in SAP with the associated SAP document
  • Coordinates shipments with Production Control and Shipping Departments
  • Coordinates with production staff
  • Answers incoming calls from customers
  • Serves as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Cross train with other Sales Representatives to develop a working knowledge of the requirements of all customer accounts
  • Works with FI to coordinate collection activities and monitoring of outstanding balances.
  • Releases material for shipment
  • Informs Inside Sales Manager/Supervisor of any needed changes to the Customer Terms Portfolio
  • Informs Inside Sales Manager/Supervisor of any part numbers that do not have pricing entered into SAP
  • Communicates with customers about products, prices, terms & conditions, and lead times
  • Coordinates import-orders with colleagues in Germany
  • Plays an integral part in generating new sales processes and communication between our facilities
  • Ensures the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Develops trust relationships with a portfolio A/B/C customers
  • Resolves any issues and problems faced by customers and deals with complaints to maintain trust
  • Supports other TS.NA locations as needed

Inside Sales Representative Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree or comparable experience in customer service role
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate information both verbally and in written form
  • Office environment. No heavy lifting required.
  • Daily activities include extended periods of sitting at desk and computer, utilizing computer software, answering phone and servicing customer requests.
  • Daily interaction with a variety of personalities requiring the use of tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to travel to customers and other company locations periodically (est. 10%)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • SAP system knowledge and experience preferred
