Duties and Responsibilities |
- Inputs employee and payroll data into the HR/Payroll system for adjunct and full-time faculty and processes supplemental salary payments.
- Responsible for set up and disbursement of all legally required withholdings, including child support, wage garnishments, wage deduction summons, student loans, tax levies and spousal support.
- Serves as resource for running of bi-weekly and monthly payroll and all jobs and reports essential to an accurate payroll and benefits process.
- Generates routine reports and designs special reports as requested.
- Develop, test, and implement new integrations, interfaces, and upgrades of HR systems in conjunction with vendors and IT.
- Define, evaluate, and configure HR systems/tools together with HR and non-HR groups to ensure efficiency in HR's processes and data integrity across all HR systems.
- Responsible for production and non-production HRIS support of researching, recommending, and resolving system problems.
- Responsible for developing and performing ongoing scheduled activities of conducting system and user audits.
- Performs related duties as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience |
- BS/BA degree in Business Management, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 3 years of data entry experience into HR/Payroll Systems.

- Must be able to exercise discretion and judgment with little or no supervision in carrying out daily tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Excellent project management, customer service, and client relationship skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with attention to details.
- Must be highly organized to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and payroll deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
- Experience with SharePoint O365, HTML and web page design concepts highly desired
