About Us: We specialize in developing and testing advanced cooling solutions for data centers. Our Refrigeration Unit Test Lab plays a key role in ensuring our systems meet performance, safety, and reliability standards. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our test lab team for the summer. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge cooling technology, gain experience in electrical and mechanical systems, and contribute to real-world product testing and development. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the construction of test setups including duct work and wooden structures Support lab organization and system maintenance Participate in the setup and troubleshooting of unit control systems Engage in PLC logic programming and signal communication analysis Perform electrical tasks such as panel wiring and working with both high and low voltage systems Generate reports and contribute to data collection and analysis Collaborate with engineers and technicians on system testing and validation Preferred Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in EE, ME, Controls Engineering or relevant trade school Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mechanical aptitude Familiarity with basic tools and lab equipment Understanding of thermodynamics and control systems Experience or coursework related to electrical systems, PLCs, or instrumentation is a plus Strong teamwork and communication skills What You'll Gain: Practical experience in a fast-paced engineering lab environment Exposure to refrigeration and data center cooling technologies Opportunities to contribute to meaningful engineering work and learn from experienced professionals Equal Opportunity Employer: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
