Are you a seasoned legal professional passionate about making a meaningful impact? Boys Town is seeking an Associate General Counsel - Contracts to lead and support a diverse range of contract matters and provide strategic legal guidance that protects and advances our mission.

What You'll Do:

As a key member of our legal team, you will:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex contracts including government, healthcare, vendor, service, construction, and clinical agreements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, working closely with internal departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and risk management.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance, data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity issues relevant to contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Compliance, and Finance to ensure contract accuracy and timely execution.
  • Drive improvements in contract management processes and support conflict resolution and compliance reviews.

What You'll Bring:

Required:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Nebraska State Bar.
  • Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, including hands-on experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with federal and state government contracts and procurement processes.
  • Strong understanding of legal issues in healthcare, social services, and privacy/data security environments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks. Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up.
