Position Description * Assemble make-up air equipment; check and confirm work in accordance with job specifications, procedures, quality standards, and checklists * Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings (training provided) * Safely operate forklift and/or other lift equipment * Mount fans, motors, burners, and gas manifolds * Measure, cut, and install insulation * Accurately complete checklists * Suggest design and procedure improvements to improve quality and productivity and reduce cost * Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship Key Responsibilities * Ability to read, write, and do simple math, read a tape measure * Good mechanical aptitude * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings * Ability to operate a MIG welder and pass a pre-employment weld test * Ability to operate cold saw, iron worker, shear, bend sheet metal * Ability to safely and properly use a wide variety of tools, including hand and power tools * Ability to safely and properly operate a forklift and/or other lift equipment * Ability to stand for long periods of time * Ability to sit, bend, squat, and kneel * Ability to perform work from a ladder, reaching and working overhead * Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment * Ability to follow directions in standard practices and procedures * Construction, assembly, or carpentry experience preferred * MIG welding experience preferred Required Education & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
