Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Strategic Global Pursuit Leader to lead customer opportunities, driving successful outcomes and maximizing profit and growth opportunities. You will have experience prioritizing sales opportunities based on ICP abilities, strategic planning and the capability to collaborate across a diverse range of partners.

This role is based in Milwaukee, WI and will report to our Director, Solution Design, NA.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do:

Project Pursuit Management:

  • You will plan and delegate to meet established timelines for Integrated Project Design pursuits.
  • You will work with the sales team to qualify and strategize opportunities through the Win Strategy process.
  • You will ensure adherence to pursuit processes to lead consistency and efficiency in delivering successful outcomes in sales pursuits.

Sales Support and Strategy:

  • You will contribute to design strategies early in the sales cycle to influence customer biasing and specification writing.
  • You will collaborate with teams, including Integrated Project Design members, Sales Leadership, Channel Partners, Departments, Contracts, and Negotiations.

Profit Maximization and Negotiation:

  • You will use commercial and technical skills to negotiate internally and externally, ensuring a sound understanding of cost, value, and profit margins.
  • You will communicate scope, risk, and financials to executive-level leadership for project approvals.

Legal Coordination and Proposal Management:

  • You will manage legal terms and conditions, working with RA Contract and Negotiations team, 3rd Parties, and customers.
  • You will maintain Integrated Project Design business tools to support automation of activities such as forecasting, reporting, and opportunity management.

Continuous Improvement and Training:

  • You will seek and participate in continuous improvement through feedback and formal/informal training opportunities.
  • You will provide coaching to the sales team to enhance sales competency.

Networking and Collaboration:

  • You will build relationships with 3rd party suppliers and integrators.
  • You will promote the Integrated Project Design value message and business models in scenarios.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

The Preferred - You Might Have:

  • Five or more years of technical experience with electrical or control systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial products and applications.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with Prefabricated Modular Buildings, Single Line Drawings, motors, switchgear, transformers, process control, and digital applications.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with large project execution experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' sales experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience.
