Stockroom Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Stockroom Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of system transactions and physical movement of inventory within the facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Physical movement of material and/or finished product throughout the various stock locations utilizing equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks or forklifts.
  • Perform appropriate inventory transactions within NesTMS and ensure that inventory counts are accurate.
  • Adhere to all inventory, accounting and GMP guidelines and ensure stockrooms are audit ready.
  • Weigh out all ingredients needed for weekly trials.
  • Execute disposition of expired material.
  • Receipt of finished product samples in adherence to guidelines.
  • Prepare bottles for irradiation.
  • Plan and execute melting oils for Pilot Plant requirements
  • Actively develop continuous improvement solutions.
  • Various duties related to Pilot Plant trial runs.
  • Provide backup for other Supply Chain Team members, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Other activities as directed by supervisor.
  • Comply with Nestle Integrated Management System and all other company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications (Minimum Education, Experience, and Knowledge)

  • 2 years of Supply Chain experience preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills for dealing with superiors and peers.
  • Strong computer skills

Specific requirements

Organized, dependable, independent, self starter, ability to multi-task, oriented to meet deadlines, good customer service skills, good communication skills, good self control, essential to be accurate and exact, basic computer skills, ability to be trained to operate a fork lift, ability to lift 50 Lbs., ability to be trained to use computer software packages such as SAP, NesTMS, etc., ability to perform administrative duties such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

Knowledge of transportation and logistics principles and methods of moving goods by air, sea, rail or ground preferred.
