Job Details

Responsible for site-specific oncology pharmacy services. This includes selecting, purchasing, compounding, dispensing, monitoring, storage and preparation of medications as well as the provision of information on medications. Monitors, evaluates, and resolves all issues which pertain to the quality and appropriateness of patient care services. Assists the Pharmacy Manager & Director in creating & managing fiscal matters as they relate to oncology operating budget.

Job Description

Oversees operation of the Oncology Pharmacy. Assures the implementation of processes to oversee the quality and growth of oncology services. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in ways consistent with the core values of Jefferson Health

Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred

  • PharmD Pharmacy Required

Additional Training Requirements

  • At least four years of Oncology Pharmacy practice experience after licensure/registration as a pharmacist within the past seven years, with at least 50% of time spent in oncology practice OR

  • Successful completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency within the past seven years, plus at least two years of Oncology Pharmacy practice experience after licensure/registration as a pharmacist OR

  • Successful completion of PGY2 pharmacy residency in Oncology Pharmacy within the past seven years
