Job Description: As an Account Manager for the ProWood Division, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with key clients and driving sales within your assigned territory. You'll work with a diverse range of customers, from independent lumberyards to home centers, offering ProWood's high-quality pressure-treated lumber and related products that meet the toughest industry standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospect new business opportunities in your territory Promote ProWood's extensive range of pressure-treated lumber and related building products, including decking, fencing, and more Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and recommend the most suitable products for their projects Deliver outstanding customer service by providing timely responses, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Stay up to date with the latest product offerings, treatment technologies, and industry trends to position ProWood as the go-to choice for builders Work closely with the internal team to coordinate orders, deliveries, and resolve any product-related concerns
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, or applicable experience Proven track record in sales, preferably in the building materials or lumber industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients Self-driven and able to work independently to manage territory and meet sales goals Ability to understand technical specifications of products and communicate their benefits effectively to customers Willingness to travel within your assigned region to meet clients and attend industry events
