About This Role

The Senior Account Manager is a key sales role on the tower sales team that will identify, develop and close new opportunities to meet revenue growth targets. In this role, the senior manager will oversee relationships with national and regional customers. Their primary responsibility will be generating new business opportunities and maintaining customer relationships.



  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve tower revenue growth targets
  • Negotiate pricing structures and lease terms to maximize new revenue. Negotiate and manage master lease agreements and related templates with major customers.
  • Manage the revenue pipeline and provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts in network real estate, RF engineering, supply chain and other related departments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (primarily leasing operations) to ensure seamless execution and communication to our customers.
  • Promote tower assets and colocation opportunities to potential tower customers.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and customer needs and plans.
  • Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to grow market presence.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all issues related to assigned customers' contractual terms.
  • Assist with sales and marketing activities as needed, including but not limited to website development, email blasts, social media posts, and creation of presentation materials.
  • Approximately 25-40% travel expected.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum seven years of experience in a comparable position at a tower company, telecom wireless carrier, or site acquisition company
  • Strong understanding of tower leasing and wireless carrier needs.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship building, and oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Proficient in MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Existing relationships with wireless carriers
  • Leadership experience, including managing direct reports
