About This Role
The Tower Sales Specialist is a key sales role on the tower sales team and will help achieve tower revenue growth targets. In this role, the specialist will serve as the first point of contact for customers interested in leasing space on UScellular towers. The role will primarily manage customer inquiries, customer application intake and pricing. The specialist will be responsible for providing sales leadership with data and reporting to assist with business development activity and analysis.
- Field initial inquiries from all prospective new customers; ensure timely, thorough and accurate responses for new and existing customer inquiries.
- Facilitate the process of customer application submission, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all issues related to customer applications and customer equipment, both externally from customers and internally from business partners.
- Prepare initial pricing estimates for all customer applications and confirm final pricing prior to lease preparation and execution.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on contractual pricing and entitlements of each of our customers.
- Review all site and leasing data to provide details on available RAD centers, ground space, and any prime lease requirements.
- Prepare routine reporting on application pricing and application volume, including analysis of trends and issues.
- Assist with sales and marketing activities as needed, including but not limited to email blasts, social media posts, and creation of presentation materials.
- Assist with all other tower customer support tasks as needed.
- Minimal travel expected.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of experience in a comparable position at a tower company, telecom wireless carrier, or site acquisition company
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Proficient in MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Wireless industry experience, including working knowledge of wireless equipment
