We are seeking a Finance Leader to spearhead the transformation of our expense management processes and tools. This high impact role will lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, transparency, and decision-making across the organization. This includes implementing scalable solutions, advancing toolsets, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.


You will own the end-to-end processes for expense budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a focus on modernizing and optimizing how we manage expenses.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:



  • Estimated Salary:$140,000-$170,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Leads the transformation of the expense management processes and tools including our continued investment in Anaplan.
  • Leads expense budgeting, forecasting and actual to expected processes ensuring timely and accurate quarterly/annual forecasts/plans.
  • Oversees maintenance, administration and enhancements of Anaplan capabilities.
  • Directs analysis of financial and non-financial data to identify trends and/or indicators, provide insights and make recommendations.
  • Builds and sustains an engaged, collaborative team through timely feedback, coaching and mentoring.
  • Models collaboration while building and expanding relationships with business partners, advancing our role as a strategic partner.




WHAT YOU'LL BRING:



  • Strong knowledge of finance and/or accounting practices and procedures preferably common to the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, across a variety of situations and individuals, including in times of conflict and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and influence others in a direct and matrix team environment.
  • Project management skills including the ability to establish plans and drive to execution in alignment with broader strategic direction.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.



PREFERRED:



  • Advanced level degree or equivalent experience in Finance related field.
  • 8 or more years experience working in the insurance industry or related field.
  • Designation specific to the Finance/Accounting field, such as CPA.
