Join our team and channel your enthusiasm into contributing to the renowned ArcGIS Maps SDK for Native Apps. The ArcGIS Maps SDKs for .NET empower developers to craft cutting-edge cross-platform mapping applications for both mobile and desktop environments. This role offers an exciting chance to join our product development team, aiding in the consistent delivery of top-notch releases within a vibrant and fast-paced setting.

Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Redlands, CA area for this position.

Responsibilities



  • Develop and work on cross-platform applications using .NET and C# with a focus on .NET MAUI
  • Work closely with other developers to design and develop quality APIs
  • Utilize critical thinking to resolve user problems and enhance existing features
  • Showcase API capabilities through writing samples, demos, and documentation
  • Work with test infrastructure to ensure high-quality software
  • Apply GIS knowledge to enhance GIS workflows in applications built using ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET


Requirements



  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Proficiency in .NET and C# as a software engineer or software developer
  • Passion for problem-solving and user-centric development
  • Enthusiasm for demonstrating API capabilities through samples and demos
  • Hands-on experience working with GIS technologies
  • Good communication skills to effectively convey technical challenges and discuss solutions
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, GIS or related field


Recommended Qualifications



  • Experience with Microsoft technology (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code)
  • Familiarity with cross-platform API development, testing frameworks
  • Working experience with ArcGIS products is a great asset
  • Master's in computer science, engineering, GIS or related field
