SEI's Asset Management Unit is launching a new dedicated Enterprise Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) Sales & Experience Team designed to accelerate existing business growth in the upper-level RIA market->$5 Billion.

To support this launch, SEI has an immediate opening for a leader for this Enterprise RIA (ERIA) Relationship Development for our national strategy, go-to-market business planning and growth in the Enterprise-affiliated channel of the advisor market.

This role reports to the Head of Asset Management and will lead cross-functional engagement across the Business Development, Technology and Service organizations of the business responsible for shaping segment growth goals and overseeing achievement of those goals as a key contributor to SEI's market footprint. They will both manage and oversee implementation and onboarding, and refine the go-to-market process for client and prospective-client experience as the champion for the overall deployment of SEI's solutions across our entire ecosystem which consists of:

  • Custody

  • Wealth Tech

  • Investment Management

  • Alternatives

  • UMH/UMA

What you will do:

  • Drive transformative partnerships with Enterprise RIA firms: Become the indispensable partner to Enterprise RIA firms by delivering deep expertise as a result of understanding, navigating, driving, and commercializing within the dynamic Enterprise RIA landscape.

  • Strategically expand the awareness and footprint of SEI in the segment by establishing, nurturing and growing executive-level partnerships with Centers-of-Influence key to organizational success.

  • Lead the development and execution efforts to drive the values and vision of SEI, beginning with a client first commitment.

  • Continue to evolve our ecosystem, capabilities, and service delivery to meet the future needs of the most scaled firms within the RIA market.

What we need from you:

  • Senior client-facing (10+) years of industry experience required; relationship management, sales experience and/or strategic business development experience preferred.

  • BA/BS degree required.

  • NASD series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses (or 66) required.

  • Proven success in leading a business development and client experience organization-particularly in both strategic planning and consultative relationship management -with exceptional leadership, organizational culture and coaching skills, plus a track record of exceeding goals.

  • Significant network of contacts and relationships with upper market Enterprise RIA firms.

  • Experience and understanding of requirements of third-party distribution platform providers within the Financial Advisor industry. Significant relationships with these partners.

  • Executive-level communicator (in the written, verbal and presentation forms) and direct experience in working with executive-level professionals.

  • Established success in leading a team and both recruiting and developing talent, with a keen passion for employee engagement and growth.

  • Track record of innovation and cross-functional collaboration. This position includes strategy management and execution, and up to 40% travel potential
