The role will report to SwapClear & Listed Rates Head of Product Development, focussed of growing the range of product services with a customer centric approach. The candidate will help drive the product strategy by understanding the needs and wants of the customer and other stakeholders.

It will also involve internal coordination across the Clearing Business and Product Management function to develop business requirements and execute on strategy.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gather and assimilate subject matter expertise in the rates trade lifecycle. Help document and map the product lifecycle and workflows from end to end - from price discovery to final settlement. Understand the workflow from the perspective of different customer personas.
  • Build close working relationships with external stakeholders to partner on solution design.
  • Help the team develop business cases that address solutions that customers find valuable. Evaluate the viability of product offerings. Design validation tests/experiments and propose MVPs.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and financial impact modelling.
  • Translate strategy into business requirements that provide discrete business value. Help drive the prioritisation discussion with customers and stakeholders.
  • Assessment of competitor landscape and an understanding of the wider ecosystem beyond clearing solutions.
  • Provide clear high-level business requirements for technical teams to develop further into product delivery.
  • Provide ongoing support to technical Business Analysts and a feedback loop with the stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and assessment of existing products as a source of learning and adjusting product strategy for future extensions.
  • Manages own work proactively and other's accordingly and as directed by senior colleagues to meet overall objectives.

Must Have Experiences and Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience within listed and OTC rates would help drive understanding of workflows and the value chain.
  • Strong commercial competence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Excellent at managing and influencing a wide network of stakeholders, including senior management
  • Willing and able to challenge customers and stakeholders to delivery on objectives
  • Ability to operate effectively with other functions and external teams and is seen as a partner in the overall function

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $139,500 - $232,700. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
