We serve the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) within the Agency of Transportation, working collaboratively to enhance delivery of critical services to Vermonters. We are seeking a talented and motivated IT Manager to join our dynamic team. As an IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Vermont DMV in their digital transformation efforts. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including our business partners, technical teams, security experts, and vendors as we usher in new, fully integrated, innovative solutions that make for an outstanding customer experience. As a technically savvy leader with exceptional communication skills, you'll be instrumental in helping the DMV deliver exceptional customer experience and ensure highway safety through modern technology solutions. Work is performed in a standard office setting. Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular work schedule may be anticipated. Minimum Qualifications
Six (6) years or more experience in computer science, business administration, public administration, mathematics, technical operations management or providing support to staff within an Information Technology environment. OR Four (4) years or more in an Information Technology Manager role with a combination of experience in computer operations, information technology management/administration or supervisory responsibilities.
