Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions seeks a NORAM Sales Engineer to drive success across our VWTS Engineered Systems (ES) product lines. This role combines technical expertise in water treatment, relationship-building skills, and project management capabilities to develop and implement water treatment solutions for diverse industries and applications. The Sales Engineer will provide commercial support throughout the region to channel partners,
OEM, end users, and deliver Veolia solutions through our comprehensive product portfolio,
including Reverse Osmosis Systems, Pretreatment, EDI/ED, Ultrafiltration, Filters & Membranes. We
welcome candidates who are proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to build a strong
business pipeline using our industry-leading product portfolio through analytical thinking, innovation,
and collaborative approaches. Key Responsibilities: Business Development:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the water treatment market
- Provide technical expertise to customers and team members
- Create and present technical proposals and solutions
- Navigate contract negotiations, pricing, and terms of sale
- Achieve sales objectives
Customer Partnership:
- Evaluate customer'swater treatment requirements and recommend solutions
- Deliver technical support and expertise
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships
- Partner with customers to develop customized water treatment solutions
Technical Leadership:
- Perform and analyze water quality assessments
- Resolve water treatment system challenges
- Provide guidance on system design, installation, and operation
Team Collaboration:
- Partner with engineering and product development teams
- Channel customer feedback for product and service improvements
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and other departments
Documentation:
- Develop comprehensive technical proposals, specifications, and project plans
- Design and deliver technical presentations
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and project activities
Qualifications
Qualifications: Required:
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical sales and/or technical support
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (chemical, industrial, or mechanical)
- Knowledge of water treatment, reverse osmosis systems, Spiral Wound Membrane technology, Ultrafiltration & General Filtration
- Field service background
Preferred Skills & Qualities:
- Strong understanding of water chemistry & treatment technologies
- Proficiency with technology platforms (Office 365, Salesforce, Google Workspace)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Experience with CRM software and technical design tools
- Results-driven approach to business development
- Collaborative mindset and passion for technical sales
- Travel Requirement: 30%
