The Snowflake Solution Engineering organization is leading this effort for our customers. As trusted partners, our SE teams work closely with customers to deploy the capabilities which drive this modernization.

As the Sr. RVP, of the Solution Engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical architects driving strategic customer engagements and building prescriptive architecture and frameworks to drive customer adoption of Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You will be responsible for partnering closely with Sales, GTM, Solution Engineering, Engineering, Marketing teams to help Snowflake customers transform their businesses with AI Data cloud.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Engineering Leadership

  • Drive strategic customer and partner engagements in partnership with Sales, Solution Engineering and GTM teams.

  • Build repeatable reference architectures, frameworks to drive accelerated well architected deployments

  • Thought leadership in overall AI Data Cloud across both internal and external forums.

  • Act as escalation point for customers, sales teams, and product leadership

  • Drive product gaps and roadmap processes as the Voice of the Field with product and engineering

  • Drive overall operational excellence with KPIs, comp plans etc.

  • Collaborate with EMEA and APJ counterparts on best practices and approaches

People Management
  • Build and lead a team of world class technical architects who serve as our core product introduction, evaluation and education experts

  • Create career development plans, coaching processes, and other activities to build a high-performing team

  • Act as a player/coach working with your team on building reference architectures, solutions and driving complex strategic customer engagements with CDO, CTO, Enterprise Architect etc.

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
  • 20+ years of industry experience in a Data &AI engineering or technical solutioning, including 8+ years in a leadership role managing and mentoring high-performing teams (hiring, training, and retaining top talent)

  • Strong domain expertise in areas such as Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Gen AI, Cloud Computing, and SaaS Solutions

  • Work across the company to build common engineering infrastructure and processes to drive building world class reference architectures, frameworks and solutions.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to both technical and executive stakeholders - whether on a whiteboard, through live demos, or formal presentations

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $255,000 - $388,500.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
