Description

The Semel Institute is seeking to hire a full time Staff Research Associate II to participate in clinical trials of treatments for addiction with a focus on neuropsychological aspects of drug use disorders, involving physical and psychometric testing and brain imaging. You will join a team that conducts two or more clinical trials simultaneously, contributing to the overalloperational management of the research studies, and to the collection and management of the data collected from study start-up activities throughcloseout. You will perform necessary tasks to ensure adherence to the study protocol and applicable regulations, such as institutional policy andprocedures, FDA Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Duties Include:
  • Data coordination
  • Data collection, entry, management and analysis
  • Assisting with Psychophysiological experiments and behavioral / cognitive assessments
  • Acquiring neuroimaging data
  • Other duties as assigned

Pay Range: $28.88 - $46.46 hourly
Qualifications
Required:
  • Experience in cognitive science, neuroscience, psychology, biological science, nursing, pharmacy or other relevant program.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail in all research tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of subject and patient information.
  • Ability to set priorities that accurately reflect relative importance of current job responsibilities and ability to respond to changing priorities.
  • Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction and/or supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple duties and tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Skill in speaking clearly and distinctly, using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and convey information to individuals who are culturally diverse and from varying backgrounds
