Position Description:

The Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin seeks candidates for a breast medical oncology faculty appointment. Rank for this position is open. The successful candidate for this position will have a strong interest in and will develop a clinical practice in the care of adult patients with breast cancer. Qualified candidates must be board certified and/or board eligible in oncology, and eligible for an unrestricted license to practice in the State of Wisconsin. We welcome recent fellowship graduates and H1B visa candidates.

Opportunity

  • Collaborate with a variety of oncology providers and supportive services in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Work with the Division of Hematology and Oncology, including 75 faculty, 14 fellows, and over 80 advanced practice providers.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities through the dedicated inpatient and ambulatory care facility, an integrated Palliative Care program, and close clinical and research interactions with Surgical and Radiation Oncology, the Versiti Blood Research Institute, and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research.
  • Participate in a variety of growth, learning, and advancement opportunities, including the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin
  • Participate in the important mission of educating the next generation of hematologists, oncologists, and palliative care specialists through our fellowship programs.
  • Work in partnership with all aspects of cancer care including cancer prevention, epidemiology, immunology, drug development and pharmacotherapy, as well as all phases of clinical trials.
