Job Description
The Retail Storeroom Supervisor role is a full-time management position responsible for all aspects of managing retail stores on property. Accountable to delivering sales plan through effective management/delegation of store and operational tasks. Retail Storeroom Supervisor reports directly to the Retail Receiving & Distribution Center Assistant Manager while supervising storeroom associates. What you will be doing: Building High Performing Teams
- Develop, inspire, and retain top talent
- Coach and develop to maximize the success and efficiently of storeroom associates
- Set and reinforce clear and aligned expectations, performance, results and accountability with all associates
- Effectively and fairly manage and drive high performance of all associates
- Ensure onboarding and continued training of the associate team
- Positively communicate personal and team goals to promote the highest output.
Daily Meetings & Tasks
- Retail Leadership storeroom presence
- Run all sales reports for prior day on all stores
- Accurately pull all replenishing product and deliver to the proper stores based on sales reports
- Inventory all boxes in the storeroom at the beginning of the shift and make sure all boxes from previous day are accounted for.
- Efficiently count incoming orders to insure Correct invoicing
- Accurately receive all orders into Dataworks
- Efficiently and properly sticker all received orders
- Promptly deliver and store new items in storeroom/store

Operational Excellence:
- Oversee all aspects of storeroom and shop floor execution, including inventory accuracy, space management, and product presentation. Maintain a strong leadership presence in the storeroom and retail areas to provide direction and oversight.
- Uphold and enforce all policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Direct inventory management activities.
- Ensure prompt, organized, and accurate delivery of new merchandise to store locations.
- Execute updated floor sets and product change over in outlets based on needs of the business and seasonal periods.
- Act as manager on duty, when scheduled, to address customer service, vendor concerns, maintenance issues,
- Partner with the sales lead team to support action plans that optimize results and ensure effective execution of operational initiatives
- Accountability of all policies and procedures
- Incorporate Loss Prevention and safety messages into daily operations
- Maintain OSHA requirements to ensure the outlets are a safe working and shopping environment.
Weekly Meetings & Tasks
- Begin each week with a 10-15-minute huddle to set the tone, align on key goals, safety reminders, and team wins.
- Weekly direct report one on one meetings
- Include 5-minute micro-training sessions during down time - covering topics like receiving accuracy, Dataworks tips, or safety procedures.
Monthly Meetings & Tasks
- Check and replenish basic supplies (labels, printer ink, tape, clipboards, cleaning materials) and reorganize storage bins and shelves.
- Execute monthly shop inventories in partnership with Retail Assistant Manager (Storeroom)
- Develop a rotational system where storeroom staff can cross-train in other shops or retail functions to build skillsets and keep daily work fresh.
- Allocate time for monthly organization and cleaning, ensuring proper labeling, shelf order, and accessibility.
- Identify items with upcoming expirations or limited-time relevance and communicate with Retail Manager for promotional action.
Quarterly Meetings & Tasks
- Create and schedule quarterly storeroom deep cleaning
- Review Team training needs developing training needs
- Rotate seasonal or dated product to front shelves and flag excess or aged items for sell-through strategies.
- Update product shelf labels, storage signs, and area identifications to maintain clear visibility and reduce mispacks.
- Review current Standard Operating Procedures with team, incorporating any changes or improvements into training materials.
Annual Meetings & Tasks
- Submit Retail hourly reviews reviews/ developmental plans, Retail Manager to approve
- Schedule an annual deep cleaning of the storeroom - including floors, vents, shelves, light fixtures, and hard-to-reach storage areas.
- Check all equipment used in the storeroom (scanners, printers, carts, ladders, etc.) for wear, service needs, or replacement.
- Ensure all storeroom team members are up-to-date with required training or certifications (e.g., food safety handling, lift training)
Other Operating Purchase Requests & Approvals
- Purchase requests are approved by Director of Retail Receiving & Business Support
Qualifications
- 2+ Years Receiving & Distribution Experience
- Must be fluent in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proven ability to drive results through a strong level of business acumen
- Demonstrated success in talent development/management
- Strong communication skills and ability to foster a supportive culture with accountability
- Availability for varied weekly shifts including weekend, closing and peak shifts
