We work with healthcare organizations big and small to find the right physicians and advanced practitioners to provide quality patient care.

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of all accounting procedures associated with reimbursing contractors and billing clients for the hours worked or expenses incurred by a contractor on a locum tenens assignment.

Additional Details:

  • Responsible for assigned division's bill and pay functions

  • Keeps records and accounts accurate and current

  • Researches and resolves discrepancies and accounting errors

  • Completes related reports, summaries, and records

  • Processes weekly and monthly expense reports for contractors

  • Updates and verifies contractor information in accounting system, which includes W-9 and direct deposit information

  • Ensures that contractor reimbursements are accurate and timely

  • Enters correct data for hours worked, including overtime, shift differential, and other payment types

  • Ensures that client billing is accurate and timely

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with team members, other teams and management

  • Tracks and resolves contractor payment questions

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required

  • 1-2 years of experience processing time sheets and/or accounts payable experience preferred

  • Staffing agency experience preferred

  • Workday experience preferred
